Fuster is a company that is passionate about creating unique handcrafted acoustic guitars. With meticulous attention to detail and a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, they bring to life instruments that are not only exquisite in sound but also in technology. The logo had to convey expertise, attention to detail and innovation. The Mayúscula proposal was based on a custom stencil lettering with the F by Fuster in the shape of the F hole of the guitars, which projects the vibration of the sound from the soundboard. Initially the name was Fuster Guitars, and we removed Guitarras from the logo to internationalize it, adding it to the claim as a description. The custom logo is arranged at a slant, reminiscent of traditional American guitar logos.
Mayúscula’s contribution includes the musical context with the F of the guitar, the internationalization of the name and the variability designing additional options for the F monogram, quality seal type and claim.
The F and the stencil logo allow the luthier to customize the neck and headstock of the guitar with mother-of-pearl inlays in the wood. The monogram is used as a hallmark on the interior label and on the frets.
