CreaCities, creative innovators towards business success

CreaCities is a set of programs for professional creatives that provide an opportunity to explore, connect and interact with the creative ecosystem of the world’s most dynamic cities. Delving into key sectors such as design, art, sports, gastronomy, tourism, and architecture, participants have the opportunity to meet face to face with industry leaders, attend workshops & talks and receive their feedback through online sessions, all while having the chance to explore their inspiring cities. CreaCities is an initiative by Creative Dialogue.

Rocío Martinavarro, founder and director of Mayúscula, is the brand design expert in Barcelona, guiding emerging talent and professionals looking to expand their skills and get a leading edge in their industry. Roció’s work is divided into three parts: face-to-face interaction (workshops, talks and portfolio reviews), personalized online consultancy, and on-demand, tailor-made capsules (branding and design projects to boost the participant’s businesses). Her mission is helping the participants develop a focused creative strategy and a stronger identity in order to achieve their business goals and overcome the creative industry challenges.

CreaCities programs have featured participants from the Middle East, such as Arabic calligrapher Jassim AlNasrallah, Nawar Al Kazemi, founder of Square One Studio from Kuwait, architect Sara Kanoo from Bahrain, and so on. Participant expert guides include Assaad Awad (with clients like Lady gaga or Madonna), or Carmelo Zappulla from External Reference Architects, with projects in Spain, Korea, Italy, UK, Germany, France and Russia.
