Talk at Valencia World Design Capital 2022 about how design can help break down borders

Cross-cultural design, Global, Strategy

Valencia Paradís is the first virtual festival organized by Valencia World Design Capital 2022. For its launch, they organized nine talks recorded in an express format followed by a virtual meeting for Questions & Answers.

Rocío Martinavarro gave a talk on how crosscultural design and cocreation must become key for people and organizations to understand each other in a polarized world context that is super multicultural and connected by the internet, and at the same time highly dominated by borders and confinements. Design has the power to break borders and facilitate a highly creative and dynamic space that is hybrid, transcultural and transmedia.

Mayúscula (Rocío Martinavarro), Pepe Gimeno, Ruiz + Company (David Ruiz), Eduardo del Fraile, Dídac Ballester, Masquespacio (Ana Hernández), Ana Criado, Gràffica (Ana Gea) and Nuria Vila. The format is directed by César Gómez-Mora, a TEDx talks organizer. (In Spanish)
